Film Burn Overlays

The film burn overlays I use for the transitions in Day 30. Drag one over a cut, set it to Screen, and the dark parts disappear.

How it's built

  1. Drop the overlay over the cut.
  2. Blend mode Screen makes the dark parts transparent.
  3. Using it more than once in a video? Change the speed or mirror it so it doesn't repeat.
